Free poker tournaments are daily events that happen on quite a few of the best web poker websites. Freerolls are much favored by the poker wagering community as they provide the poker competitors the hopes to win some real cash without squandering any. The buyin to these freerolls is – like their titles indicates – free and prize $$$$$ can range from a few dollars for placing to hundreds of dollars for capturing the huge freeroll holdem poker tournaments.
So how come the poker websites have free tournaments? Is it because of their incredibly altruistic character and the reality that they acquire massive sums of $$$$ so they have a societal requirement to provide a bit of it back?
What do you believe!
No of course it is not, the reason that the big poker websites offer free tournaments is to lure folks to their site.
Here’s the idea condensed – You come across a poker site that has an excellent freeroll, it costs you zip to enter and you will be able to win $100. You think "Great!" and you go along to the poker site and get registered as a member so you can participate in the freeroll. You can wager and finish quickly and are annoyed largely because you feel you should have done much better, or you get near the end and so you’re wanting some additional play. What do you do? You spend some $$$$$ at the poker site and compete in a different poker game!
Make sure to check out the freerolls for cash-out stipulations, you’ll nearly always need to wager on a couple of hands for actual $$$$ before they allow you take the money out. Often this is on a 1=1 basis, so if you capture $20 at the no cost poker tournament you will need to have played for $20 in actual $$$$$ in order for you to be able to extract the cash.
