Poker Aces references two aces dealt before theflop. It’s the strongest possible pre-flop hand inTexas Holdem Poker. But despite this a large number of gamblers end up on the wrong end when given these cards.

When you are dealt a pair of Aces, you just don’t fold pre-flop. You are sitting with the best achievable hand at this part of the round. So how do you gamble with Poker Aces ? Do you actually go all-in? I’d say definitely no to that.

Remember, you are trying to earn as much money out of this strong position. You need to maximize the possibility. Going all-in will merely drive most competitors into dropping out before laying a wager.

If you are in the initial spot (1st or 2nd to wager), you will place a single bet. Anyone with good cards will call, hopefully somebody might raise. If someone has made a raise do not hop to re-raise or call, wait for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.

Following the flop your course of action will be to eliminate any player that might get a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise boldly, if you are lucky you will fool one player into thinking that you’re bluffing.

If you are in the middle or late spot (one of the last to cast your bet) you will watch as every player calls and then raise. Even with you holding a pair of aces, if you can try to avoid a show-down. Defend your hand by forcing the other players drop out following the flop. If you don’t get rid of your opponents you chance losing your hand.
