Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with old origins. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the western in an excellent game for beginner level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the croupier, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers wager against other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, beginner players do not have to worry about any other, more skillful gamblers taking their money.

Another Pai Gow advantage is the relatively slow game pace, rookies should be able to take their time and strategize without having to make quick selections.

It is also simpler to gamble on for an extended time with just a little bit of money since, to lose, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the casino is dealt 7 cards face down.

One five card hand and a two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the casino’s.
