Phil didn’t let the adverse comments from others destroy his ambition of being one of the greatest poker competitors on the planet.
Phil began playing intently after getting a false ID by the name of Jerome. He honed his abilities at the casinos of Atlantic City. The beginning few years for Phil were a learning period and winning was not a normal thing at the time.
